To set your Radio for local use
1. Set: UR to CQCQCQ
2. Set: Rpt 1 to KJ4LNJ C (c must be in #8 position)
3. Set: Rpt 2 to KJ4LNJ G (g must be in #8 position)
If the Repeater is linked you are all set, if it is not linked it can still be used as a Local
Repeater with these settings.
To set your Radio to link KJ4LNJ to a Reflector
1. Set: UR to REF001cl (refo***L,REFo1-23abc (L) must be in #8 position)
2. Set: Rpt 1 to KJ4LNJ C (as above)
3. Set: Rpt 2 to KJ4LNJ G (as above)
Remember you MUST change Radio back to Ur: CQCQCQ to carry on a QSO
if not you will continue to try and link on each push of the PTT button. The easy way to
do this is to set up different memories preprogramed for each action.
To set your Radio to Unlink KJ4LNJ from a reflector or another Repeater
1. Set: UR*******U (u must be in #8 position)
2. Set: Rpt1 to KJ4LNJ C (as above)
3. Set: Rpt 2 to KJ4LNJ G (as above)
This will put the Repeater back to Local Repeater use.
